The Unique Beauty of Olive Green and Stone Orange

The Unique Beauty of Olive Green and Stone Orange

Nestled within a 1970s building in Varese, this top-floor apartment has undergone a rejuvenation project aimed at highlighting natural light and the spaciousness of the space.

Transforming the Space: Originally, the interior was cluttered with too many partitioned areas. Now, a refined olive-green block has emerged at the center, integrating storage areas, shelves, and a laundry space, becoming the heart of the apartment.

Living Area and Kitchen: The living area shines with modern terracotta walls. The kitchen features a large island, with its surface and exterior crafted from light-colored terrazzo (with a variety of composite materials), creating a distinctive elegance.

Bedroom: A peaceful and cozy retreat, the bedroom is adorned with rope-colored fabric, concealing the wardrobe entrance without the need for a door.

Bathroom: Entering the master bathroom, you step over a dark gray terrazzo step that leads into a luxurious space featuring green glazed tiles paired with a red vanity. The guest bathroom, located along the hallway, boasts a black terrazzo sink against a cadmium yellow wall. Glass windows connect the two bathrooms, enhancing the distribution of natural light.

Oak flooring connects the main spaces through a compensating joint, enhancing the luxury and continuity of the apartment.
